Widgets and Google-Analytics
This website offers features of various widgets. Some of these (although not our website itself) call on Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. (“Google”). In turn, Google Analytics uses so-called "Cookies": text files that are saved on your computer and allow analysis of your use of the website or widgets oncerned. The information generated by the Cookie about your use of the respective widgets (including your IP address) is sent to a server of Google in the USA, where it is saved. Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the associated website or the widget, to compile reports on the website activities for the respective website operators and to provide other services associated with the website use and internet use. Google may also communicate this information to third parties if this is required by law or if third parties process these data on behalf of Google. Under no circumstances will Google associate your IP address with other Google data. You can prevent installation of the Cookies with an appropriate setting in your Browser software; however, in this case, we would point out that you may not be able to use the full extent of all functions of the relevant widget. By using the respective widgets, you declare that you are in agreement with Google processing the information compiled about you in the manner described above and for the aforementioned purpose.
If you do not wish for Google to receive data from your browser when you call up the widgets, this is the link to the opt out solution for Google Analytics: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en
. This plug-in prevents the browser from requesting the Analytics code, so Google receives no data when the page/widget is called up. The plug-in is available only for Internet Explorer 7 and 8, Firefox 3.x and Chrome. According to Google, after installation, the browser blocks the Google Analytics script.
