The hotel is in a central and pleasantly quiet location in Ratingen. The deluxe double room was nice and had all amenities including kettle and air conditioning. When there was a mistake when booking, we were very accommodating and found a pleasant alternative. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and tasty and there were even freshly baked gluten-free rolls. Thanks for that! Milk alternatives would be great.

Service is okey, but they never told me there was no air conditioning in the rooms. Had to pay for an upgrade to receive a room with ac. Its 28 degrees outside. The ac stop working by midnight. I had a big bed for one people with only ONE pillow, which by the way was the worst pillow i had. Asked at the reception for an extra pillow and you can’t even imagine what they gave me.. not coming back. Wifi is pretty bad too.

Good standard, clean rooms, friendly atmosphere. The location is conveniently located (500 m from Rtg.-Ost station), but also relatively noisy. The toilet was dirty with old deposits, air conditioning is only available in the more expensive premium rooms.

We stayed one night there and had a friendly gentleman when we checked in who "processed" our parking ticket so that we could drive out of the underground car park and back in again without any problems. (We were there for a wedding). The breakfast buffet was set up in a niche and very rich with fresh rolls of different kinds, different cereals, baked tomatoes, different kinds of eggs, different cold cuts and cheese and different juices. There was also the possibility to brew a pot of tea. So there is something for every taste. The jam was only partly individually wrapped and there were edible containers for self-serving. The room was generously designed with a large mirrored wardrobe, an armchair with a table and a desk with a chair. In the bathroom, the make-up mirror could hang a bit lower, but otherwise there is nothing to complain about.

Nice staff - but at most a superior three-star hotel. In the room you constantly hear the water pipe in all other rooms. It's super warm in the summer - luckily, after a call from my cell phone to the receptionist, a small table fan was brought into my room. It is not displayed in the room via room service or how to reach the reception via landline. The mini bar is always empty and you have to go to reception to get something to drink. In any case, the hotel feels like a spirit hotel: Long empty dark corridors, it takes a long time to walk to the room and when you reach the room, there is hardly anything there. The once white door and window frames etc. are now yellow. You feel like you're in the 1980s, with the Panasonic landline phone by the bedside table, the yellow lamps. It has its charm. Since there is nowhere in the room about room service and how to reach the reception, I order something to eat one day via delivery service. I would have to pick it up personally after the long walk to Rezi, as they neither wanted the supplier to leave the food at Rezi nor allowed him to go to the room. If I had only known how exactly I could reach the receipt via Panasonic telephone and what is on the room service card, I would not have had to order the delivery service. Unfortunately I would neither recommend the hotel nor book it again for myself or my company. The staff is reactively attentive -- proactivity and structure for the basic hotel thing are lacking.

The good first. The service in the restaurant was very attentive and friendly. That's about all I can say good about this hotel. The rooms and the hotel are underground. First I had a room on the 4th floor. The toilet flush didn't work at all in this room. I wonder how it was cleaned there? I was moved to another room, also on the 4th floor. At 1 am the room door suddenly flew open with a clatter, my suitcase flew through the room and a stranger stood in my room, laughing loudly. Being woken up from a deep sleep at 1 am because a stranger slams open the door is not really exciting. The room was probably given twice. How is a woman supposed to feel safe in such a situation. Something like that doesn't work at all! Since I was awake anyway, I played with the silverfish in the bathroom. I didn't need to have breakfast either, since my predecessor had scattered his nuts under the table and the cleaning staff had probably overlooked them. In summary, number 1 on my worst list in 30 years in the field!!

Cons: Temperature in the rooms on the 2nd floor in summer and the WiFi is terrible. Fridge was empty and off. Good: the rooms are well furnished, mattresses are good, service and breakfast as well. The underground car park is practical.

Rooms and location are great. The bar was closed on the first visit due to a celebration and on the second visit the waiter wasn't at the bar for a long time. Too bad.. Breakfast was very good. Everything you need was there. Shuttle service worked very well. All in all, to be recommended.

In order to keep 4 stars, some things would have to be renewed, such as e.g. B the seat cushions in the breakfast room, the floor in the reception and new decoration in the hall. The artificial plants have been out for a long time. But all in all the stay was fine. Very positive the underground car park.

So a clean hotel, but why often does the fish stink from the head, when two people have to do the reception and restaurant at once, there are of course delays. Both employees did their utmost to compensate for the whole thing, a compliment to their professionalism. It's clean... everything else okay

The check-in was super friendly, I felt very welcome. The room was spacious, quiet and clean. The city center of Ratingen is easy to reach on foot. I skipped breakfast so I can't rate it.

I have stayed here twice and have been very satisfied each time. Friendly and courteous staff, especially last time. There was a new receptionist who had recently started there and the poor man had been having problems with the system. He apologized several times for the long wait at check-in and what was really good was that he offered me and my friend drinks for free. The rooms are very nicely furnished, plenty of choice at breakfast and the transport links are great. I can only recommend the hotel 👍👍

Room: The room itself is not bad at all. But what totally disturbs is the old cold smell of smoke that you notice immediately when you go in, so that you first want to open the window. The next odor nuisance kills you in the bathroom. It smells like old drains in there. Without these smells, there would have been 4 stars. Breakfast: Absolute standard. No vegetarian or vegan alternatives and not a large selection. But the staff was absolutely friendly, fast and helpful 👍

Guest for 10 days at BOOT 2023. We have been staying there with a whole horde for a few years. Value for money is top. Friendly staff. Even if the hotel is now a bit old... it's okay if you don't expect 5 stars. But please: change the toilet brushes too! It looked like a toothbrush that hadn't been changed in ages.

Room and bathroom clean, toilet not. The toilet brush swam in an indefinable broth. Reception often vacant, but the staff are all very friendly. Tiny TV set, picture very dark, not even with effort to improve. bed clean and comfortable. Max. 12 minutes on foot to the S Bahn Ratingen Ost. No gastronomy near the hotel.

Cheap hotel in Ratingen. Friendly staff. Getting a bit old. Rooms are okay in size. You get everything that is important. Beds okay too. Bathroom with shower ok, but some problems with the drain in the sink. But that can also be bad luck with a room, it doesn't have to affect the whole hotel. Parking was great too. Unfortunately, there is no possibility to charge electric vehicles. At the fair price, however, not a must-have.

The hotel is quite good, rooms are clean and not very old, although they do not look modern at all. The breakfast, standard but good, did not lack anything that is usual for a continental breakfast. The worst is the area, that you are in a city that has nothing special.

We have a room on the deluxe floor. The room is spacious and well equipped. The breakfast buffet had a very large selection that was constantly refilled. There are parking spaces in front of the hotel or in the underground car park, costs €8 per day. The staff at the hotel are all very friendly. Opposite there is an Aldi, Rossmann and a pharmacy. The old town can be reached on foot in 5-10 minutes. This invites you to stroll with great houses and shops. There are many different ways to eat out. We felt completely comfortable and would love to come back

The rooms are very well insulated against noise. You really don't hear anything from the street and the other guests (when the window is closed). The breakfast buffet is more than adequate and the staff is friendly and courteous.

Stranded here unplanned in the middle of the night after a car breakdown. But dear Mrs. Kes...not only gave us her private charger, but also kept the bar open for us so that we didn't have to let the breakdown end so badly. Great service and everyone is very friendly. A normal well located hotel. Shops opposite, public transport in principle almost in front of the door. For those with a car like me there is underground parking 8 euros per day. There is another across the street in the mall. Lobby makes a reasonable impression, breakfast is good and more than enough, everything you need. The rooms are ok, a bit "old-fashioned" like most hotels in the region and there are small flaws but still really good. Unbeatable is and remains the price/performance ratio and the hotel is really recommendable.

The service staff was very kind, we booked a room very late and when we arrived, she recognized us right away. She said she was getting our booking documents ready and we arrived. She is a very talkative and kind and lovable girl, and the good service eliminates our fatigue. Room: Plenty of space and comfortable bedding. There is a desk and it is very convenient to use a laptop. There is no air conditioner, but it will still be cold to sleep with the window open at night. In Germany, in summer, the temperature difference between day and night is quite large, and it is often lower than 20 degrees at night. No kettle and no coffee or tea bags. There is a refrigerator, and there is a supermarket opposite where you can buy drinks and come back with ice. There is a safe, but we don't use it. Bathroom: The marble walls are high-grade, large, bright, clean and comfortable. There are two-in-one shampoo and body wash; high-quality towels and bath towels. Magnifying glass and hair dryer are available. The shower room is very small, and the switch is often touched when taking a bath; and the place for placing personal bath products is too small; the drain hole cover of the shower room must be lifted, otherwise the water will drain slowly. In the photo, you can see that the room has a bathtub, but unfortunately it was not assigned to a room with a bathtub. public Utilities: The aisles are large, and dragging luggage is not crowded. It is a pity that the free gym and spa cannot be used because the epidemic has not been completely lifted. Renting a 4-star hotel for less than 55 euros a night is very good value, thanks to Google Maps for collecting all platform prices.

The relexa has been a standard hotel in our company for years. However, the years have not left the hotel untouched. The rooms could do with a refresh, but they are very clean. Apparently there is air conditioning only on the deluxe floor. But the rooms are quite large. Many more modern hotels simply radiate more charm. I think I have to look for something else in Ratingen. Unfortunately, the bar was closed and there was a small selection of drinks at the reception. Something has to be done, because the future of the hotel is not rosy.

To be honest... Hotel booked in advance through tour operators. If arriving on 23.07. I was told there was no wellness area anymore. Then the bistro was closed. There was information that you could visit a brewery, but this was also closed. There is also no air conditioning. The highlight was that they asked for a parking fee at checkout, even though my booking confirmation included parking. This hotel needs a star review very urgently.

Good Quality hotel. Very nice buffet breakfast and fantastic food at the restaurant for dinner. Short walk to centre of Ratigen and train/bus station. The rooms were very clean and relatively spacious. Enjoyed my stay.

Rooms are a bit old (at least that's how it was on the deluxe floor) and the entire hotel is no longer the newest. But overall clean and tidy. Plus is definitely the underground car park, just below the hotel. The reception was friendly and uncomplicated, just like the check out. Bar is probably no longer open in the evening from 10 p.m. (wasn't that important to me). There was a bottle of water in the room. The location is good and you can get from A to B quickly and if you forgot your toothpaste there is a drugstore on the other side.

Nice and clean hotel, bright and chic reception with lots of glass. Good service for the price of the room, including a 24-hour reception. The standard double room is clean and functional. The internet works fine. There are not enough sockets. The windows can be opened wide and wide. Beds are comfortable and you can sleep peacefully and well. I would be happy to recommend. Ratingen is a rather unspectacular place for me. That speaks neither for nor against the hotel.

Dear hotel team, I paid for a one week booking with you to have a nice holiday. I kindly asked Mrs. Nolle to help me further because I had problems with the WiFi and asked her to look for a solution with me, I tried to talk to her in a friendly way several times and then to help me further, she was very happy reacted hatefully and derogatory. I asked if another colleague would come to help me today, but she said no and didn't help me. That wasn't very customer-oriented and unfortunately gave me a bad image of your hotel. Luckily I then asked her other staff at reception about the same problem. Mr. Algün helped me very quickly and found a solution without any problems. Thanks a lot for this ! I hate to leave complaints, I want to be constructive and I hope they will take care of the behavior of some of their staff. This means that other customers are also very satisfied with their service. I look forward to a quick reply.

We arrived on Friday and there was no food, coffee or other drinks in the restaurant. Fortunately, the hotel is centrally located so that you can take care of yourself. Find an Aldi is within walking distance. Since we flew on vacation, we had booked the "sleep, park & ​​fly" tariff. The transfers to the airport and back to the hotel went well. We were only given a cup of coffee the night before going to the airport. There was no croissant that actually belonged to it.

My father stayed here in May 2022 with a larger group. He was very impressed with the hotel's good service. The service staff always tried to take care of him and his group. You can recommend this hotel at any time. Thank you for a nice time.

The hotel was unfortunately not very satisfactory and getting old. The spa is still closed - I suspect wanting to save money. Unfortunately, some of the rooms smelled like drains and some of the staff were annoyed. They are not very committed, only the young gentleman was very helpful. The breakfast is really good though. I would not book the hotel again.

We booked the hotel because of the spa area. It was closed...according to Website is operational. The TV didn't work either. Not that you need these things to have a good time, but we were disappointed!

A little belated complaint here about the visit to the bar in your hotel on April 30th. It was planned that we could have a drink in your hotel bar after a concert by the singer Claudia Jung. We were completely ignored by the bar staff upon our arrival. After we had to pick up the drinks menu at the bar ourselves, we were told after ordering that various drinks were no longer served and that you had to pick up the remaining drinks at the bar yourself. Such unfriendly behavior made us leave the bar immediately. We will never enter this again in the future.

Yesterday evening we went to the "Bar" of the Relexa as a group of about 20 people after attending a concert by Claudia Jung. When we entered the bar, some guests were already sitting there. When we entered the bar and asked which seats were available, we had the feeling that the blond, unfriendly "receptionist" was easily overwhelmed. You could literally feel that she felt slightly disturbed. After waiting in vain for 20 minutes to be served at our assigned only table for 6 people, full of anticipation for a fun evening, we had to go to the bar ourselves, where "Madame" graciously, but only after a special request, because she our customer initially ignored, took the order. The menu included cocktails, 3 of which were ordered, among other things "There are no cocktails and if you want something different, you must get that at your table! Actually served we left the hospitable house. When we complained, the blond, slight, unfriendly and rather loud waitress had to add: "Oh, because there are no cocktails, go now!" That's how you alienate customers; We really felt like having a great evening and were "served" in the wrong sense of the word. On the part of Relexa, one should consider whether such a staff belongs in a hotel bar.... That damages the reputation, in bad times anyway, and reduces the turnover, because we will never enter this hotel again.....

Unfortunately, the wellness area is still closed. As an alternative, there are no rooms with bathtubs. The room was classic old and unappealing. 7km further in Mettmann I found a far more appealing hotel with a huge and above all open wellness area.

Unfortunately it is beyond me how this hotel got 4 stars. I booked a deluxe room, but not all of the promised benefits were kept: there was a minibar, but it was empty. Unfortunately, the heating could not be regulated at all, not even after the technician had looked at the problem. WLAN use was rather bad than quite possible (Telekom hotspot). I was downgraded to a superior room due to the heating not working. No air conditioning (which doesn't bother us in winter either), the minibar was locked and the heating control only worked to a limited extent. However, out of the three days, I was charged 2 for the deluxe room and 1 day for the superior room. It couldn't be any other way, was the statement from the receptionist. The rooms were reasonably clean, didn't want to examine it more closely now. The breakfast buffet was extensive and fresh. However, the buffet area is quite dark. I would not check in there again.

Very clean hotel. Corona measures are strictly implemented. Sheets and towels were only taken out for one person. You had to get the second set out of the closet yourself. The friendliness of the staff was very different. Breakfast was ok. Price performance ratio is ok.

So overall I'm unsatisfied. The second star is only for Ergo, who did a seminar here! problems: The hotel is untidy and dirty. The downstairs toilets are locked and the disabled toilet has housed a horde of mayflies. There wasn't much choice at lunch and vegetarians had to be content with plain rice. The sauce was over salted and the rest of the menu was probably reheated too. Good to the room: First of all nice and tidy furnished but: The blanket and pillow were way too thin for a warm sleep. The window and the door to the next room were only moderately sealed, so you didn't have peace from the street noise and you could follow the conversation of the room neighbors if you wanted. The water in the shower only went intermittently then only cold and then again 5 minutes not at all. The light in the room and in the toilet is clearly aimed at only one half of the room, the other one is in the dark. Other hotel residents also complained about the same issues the next day. The breakfast was not very tasty, the croissant was a few days old, the yoghurt too and the cold cuts were probably already in the fridge. This Relexa hotel definitely disappointed me a lot and I would like to ask for the 100€ back for the night!

Unfortunately, the hotel is not recommended. It was very warm in the room, unfortunately the temperature could not be regulated. Even after we tilted the window all evening, it was still warm at night. In addition, the toilet flush was defective, so that water ran continuously. Several outlets didn't work either. In addition, the mattress was very uncomfortable. At breakfast everyone was given the same tray with different dishes and a small orange juice. My wife asked for a water, whereupon she was told that each guest only gets one cold drink.

They rebooked my stay to a hotel at the airport without giving any reason. Very unfriendly telephone customer service.

Good hotel. Clean rooms, relatively new renovation. A bit hot due to poor air conditioning. AIR CONDITIONERS are available only in rooms on the 4th floor!!! Big pillows and too thick duvets for summer.

To an all-day seminar on site, good, tasty lunch, delicious coffee with small snacks and delicacies during the breaks. The staff is very friendly, the area makes a clean impression. Seminar room unfortunately difficult to air-condition, uncomfortably flickering light bulbs and chairs that could be improved.

2018: A quiet and inexpensive hotel near the center and the S-Bahn. Very friendly and helpful staff. Unfortunately the minibar was broken, the underfloor heating was not warm and the window facing the street did not close properly, so it was quite noisy in the room. The maid kindly opened the window for us so it was really cold in the room - stupid if the heating didn't work 2020: Nice and helpful receptionist, served Corona breakfast tray plentiful and with good products. Shower door downstairs scruffy, shower head loose, power failure in the bathroom, room telephone broken, mini bar broken. I have been here 7-8 times over the years, unfortunately the shortcomings are gradually increasing. Today free-running psychosemiar in the courtyard around the cars with a marginal distance! I was afraid to find my vehicle damaged. Why is it not possible to find a suitable room with the patient?

Super chic hotel, flooded with light and bright. Friendly staff and great value for money! Nice terrace.
